I'm strongly considering a set of Kenda Klever M/T2 tires in 35x10.50R17, E load range. I know these tires are not the best of the mud terrain tires, however, they're $400-$500 less than the Toyo's, BFG's and Mickey T's. Looking at Priority Tire, which appears to be affiliated somehow with Wal Mart??

I have heard a few bad things about their A/T tire, but I'm wondering about the M/T2 specifically? Are they junk? Are they okay? At 2/3 price, I'm okay if they're 2/3 as good.

I see they're 3 ply sidewalls, and in spite of being E load rated, they're light weight, like 65-ish lbs? Don't have much ice here in Nor Cal, just muddy snow.

Guess I'll be the guinea pig ;) !! Hope down the line others will chime in on their experience cuz tires are just ridiculous $$ these days! On other sites I've read that they do not ride like E rated tires, softer like D or C so that's good to know. I'm also curious as to the pros and cons of running a 10.50 width tire vs a 12.50? According to one YouTuber, the 10.50 wraps better and has the same sq in footprint as the 12.50, and the tire is lighter weight to boot. 10.50 may benefit mpg, having lower rolling resistance. Then I can sell my Prius :p;)!!

I typically like to buy better branded tires, and do not cheap out like this, however, with my lightly modded 6.2, I have too much fun spinnin' the tires and don't want to feel guilty about it:rotflmao: !!
