Feedback on Goodyear Duratrac Tires

The BFG has the “Tri-Guard” sidewall....3 plies.

Too bad there are not more options for a 3 ply tire. I think they would be very useful in a ton of half ton pickups. The ride in combination with the weight of the tire would be the best compromise of ride vs a tougher tire vs aggressive looks vs a P rates tires. E rates tired ride like shit and are 90% , are heavy as all hell and most of the time no where near necessary

With the BFG KO2 E rate versions run them at 30psi all the time. It makes a huge difference. That's what I do on my Wrangler.

Mine wear very even at that PSI, I just make sure to rotate them on time.

Just installed the duratracs today on 17” VR-602s. I should have got these when I replaced my original factory KO2s with new K02s at 20k miles [emoji2357]

These things ride great!

Ran on my 2011, excellent tires for the first 30-40%, and even reasonably quiet.

BUT AFTER 25,000 MILES THEY ARE AS OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD AS PEOPLE WHO TYPE TEXT IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.

I was upset they had so much tread life left. Brother's set had exactly same behavior. They still worked well, but you had to speak up at 75mph.

Just installed a set of Dura 315 x 17 and new cheap wheels for winter .
79-80 decibels for them and the KM3 at same speed are 85 decibels for noise .
The Duras get worse though at about 1/2 tread .

I’d like to know that too. So far, I’m really happy with the stock BFGs.
