Good day everyone, What's your trim looking like these days. Seems like the plastic is fading all over (doors/Bed/Hood Vent). Truck is a 2020 pre owned to me. Only been using chemical guys, Car Guys products. But after hand washing only seems like it gets worse and worse.

Thank you for any help

Chris

Ok Cool I got some of that at home. Do you use a microfiber towel or what's the best applicator to not make a mess ?

Be curious if anyone has any bad fading

This is what I use as well. Love the stuff, and even though it's a small bottle, you'll probably be able to apply on the truck 3-4 times before needing a new bottle. The downsides to this is that it will fade out in about 6 months and need to be reapplied. As well, it's wise to put tape around trim to protect paint. It won't damage paint (from my experience), but sort of a pain to get off the paint. My truck is black, so perhaps more of a problem for non-black trucks. As well, this is for plastic only, which is fine except for the rubber parts in front of your windshield.

I am now wondering if applying this dye, then regular use of VRT would be the best way to go.

Will this be fine on the hood vent and around the doors trim. Painters Tape work good for taping off?
