Factory Carbon Fiber Trim Pieces After Purchase

Hey guys, I was looking to order a screw today but a dealer by me has one coming in next week with everything I want with the exception of the Carbon Fiber interior trim option. My question is, can you purchase the pieces in the "package" from the parts department and have them installed afterwards? I am concerned about tearing the interior apart in a brand new truck, but if it is a feasible option that will not cost much more than $995, I would go this route instead of waiting a couple months for a new order to come in. What are your thoughts? Thanks

I don't think it's worth the wait. I personaly have the carbon fiber in mine and I miss the lester trip on the shifter. Her in Canada the winter is very cold and the Carbon fiber shifter seems even colder. The regular leather finish is smooth and feels better on the grip. I also thought when ordering that the carbon finish would be all around the screen but nope. I would add it to where you want with a good after market kit.

I got the shifter for ~ $60 or so, and others have gotten the console door, etc.

If C/F is your thing then yes you can do it. It will probably be a bit on the spendy side though. Some of the pieces aren’t cheap.

Have a link of where you found the shifter for $60?

Looks awesome! How difficult was it to separate the actual panels from the chrome trim accents? Example: On your air vents and center console.

Everything comes a part easily and snaps back in. Only center console had chrome accent attached where I had to cut pins to separate it. Then I used hot glue to reattach it.

Where did yo get it for that price? I have only seen them for $160.

I ordered it online and had it shipped to the local Ford dealer.

Does it matter that the 19's don't have the tow/haul button on the shifter anymore? it looks like the tasca part still would have that button.
