there isnt enough time in one day to call everyone who makes junk for the raptor.

people who buy something for the looks or status symbol are posers.

and lol @svtdon agreeing with me, then editing his post after dan shows up to disagree.

Since you seem to know more then anyone else and are the expert on Raptors, you should compile a list of everyone who makes junk for the Raptor, so we the Raptor owners don't buy such junk and be ridiculed by you. :pp:

The best thing about the Raptor is its wide stance and low center of gravity. Take that away and you have a wide tall daily driver that cant fit in any parking garages.

WRONG.

The best thing about the Raptor is that Ford makes it and people buy it and make it theirs.

The best thing about the Raptor is what people say it is. EACH and EVERY PERSON.

Get over it and yourselves, LIFT HATERS, if everyone liked what you like the world would be a boring place.

If there was only one way to have a Raptor this forum wouldn't exist.

That's a little harsh, there are a lot of people who make dumb shit for raptors.

Try doing this:top gear usa ford-raptor - YouTube

or this:
The Stig Test Drives the Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 on TOP GEAR USA - YouTube

4" higher in the air and tell me how much you like changing the paint or stickers on your truck.

I am not a "LIFT HATER", I just hate seeing people take a $60k specialized truck and making it what a $40k Platinum is.

There is a reason Porches are not 4" higher off the ground, its just physics of high speed turning- you want to be lower and wider, not taller. It will be like driving a water tower offroad.

Search for "off roading lifted truck" and see how few results you get. All that comes up is jeeps. (narrow and tall) cars because that is all you can do with one of these kits.

Fabtech + raptor = No more Top Gear awesomeness.

Or-, Google "lifted raptor", notice how they are all on pavement. No more offroading, no more parking in 7' parking garages. Most likely not worth putting on 38" tires because you will never use them offroad except for crawling (which a 6,000 lb long wheelbase raptor might not be the best at).

No way this can beat a stock raptor offroad:

Eventough u are right is not up to any one to tell anyone else how to use and abuse there propperty

Unless ford puts a "warranty voided incase used on road" on a raptor
Streetqueens will be out there

Tbh i would love to strap all kinds of stuff on my raptor one day
Long travel suspesion
Case rack
Bumpers. Lights
Maybe even cantilevers

But offroading will be just 1% maximum of the miles i will drive
I think we need to grow up. Man up. And shut up
Lets enioy each others creations. And allow the queens to join a forum like this as well
Increase the community. More stories

And who knows. Maybe we can turn "mudders" to " dusters"

I think about it like this:
I've owned a lot of trucks, and ford, Chevy, dodge, etc. they're all pretty much the same.
A 1/2 ton ford doesn't really do anything different or better than a 1/2 ton chevy.
A 1 ton dodge diesel doesn't really do anything more or different than a 1 ton diesel ford.
The raptor is the first truck I've owned that does do something different. Nobody else makes anything comparable. 35" tires with a low cg, good suspension travel and some power to back it up. It's fun to drive. And practical too.
Now you slap a lift on the raptor, and it's back to being just another lifted ford/dodge/chev 1/2 ton. Nothing remarkable about it at all.
I'm not judging, it's just how I feel about it.
Reminds me of when all the imports were rocking the triple decker spoilers, they thought it looked good and gave others the perception that their car was fast. But to anyone that knew better, that they were actually impairing the cars ability to go fast, it was laughable.
Same deal with a lifted raptor, anyone that knows better, is going to laugh.
Just the way it is.

Obama will subsidies your lift for your raptor. It comes with Obamacare.
In all seriousness I love this country that we live in where we are free to do what we like to our vehicles. Also we have the freedom to express our opinions on this forum too. But then you have to remember that opinions are like ********, Everybody has one and everyone thinks that everyone else's stinks.
