The question I'd like to know is, how is it different from the other Fabtech offerings for an F150? Is it beefier and stronger? Are the steering knuckles stronger than stock?
The pictures look just like every other lift kit for an F150.

Started answering my own question:
Looks like the pictures of the kits are slightly different, in than there is a triangle bracket in the Raptor version of the kit not included in the F150 version. And no shock in the Raptor kit.

F150 Kit

Raptor Kit

However the A-Arm drop brackets, steering knuckles, and skid plate all look exactly the same. They are even both listed as being made out of 1/4" steel crossmembers and ductile iron for the steering knuckles.

Doesn't look very interesting to me. I was hoping it was beefier and stronger than the stock F150 kit.

good comparison. so basically this is a big step backwards. it makes the raptor into a lifted regular f150...

No. All of the unique parts that separate an F150 from a Raptor are being retained. So it still has the long travel and wide stance, and the fancy bypass shocks.

My point is more that it looks like this kit has been basically available all along, they just did some badge engineering to sell it you the Raptor community also.

I also see it being very popular with those people who DON'T take their trucks desert racing. You gotta admit, well over half of the US population does not have easy access to the deserts necessary to run these things the way they were intended.

You don't need desert to run these trucks like they're meant to, anywhere there's dirt and the will to push your boundaries, a raptor will show it's true colors, they are fast everywhere

Exactly. I like in north Texas and push it weekly.

North Texas to sounds to me like a bunch of wide open deserts.
Or at least wide open grassland.

As opposed to thick woods and mud like we have up here in the north country.
or the tight mountain trails of the Appalachian or Rocky mountains, as just a couple of examples.

FRF - To each their own, as long as it's what the majority likes.

Y'all act like some they're running 22x14 Chrome Rockstars with Terra Grapplers. This doesn't ruin the truck. Sure, you aren't bombing fire roads at 75mph. But with all the capabilities of the stock suspension, you get good looks and a little more clearance. This could be pretty helpful for the guys who low-speed off-road stuff.

There is more than one way to off-road a Raptor. Quit being such ***** babies about it.
