this will be a quick fix for sure, as someone already mentioned here F150 is Ford's best selling model. I would imagine there would be no way that Ford lets it go and doesn't sell another F150 for months on end. I would expect a fix almost ASAP.

My dealer just told me its not a delivery hold. He said they have a Lariat they are selling today. He said its about a 3 hour fix and it can be done later. Hope its accurate. Mine is built awaiting shipment.

I would imagine an insulation fastener would be a relatively easy resolution. You might be able to look at your drive shaft just to make sure there are no mark lines on it, if you see any then you might be concerned.
