My truck was just at the dealers to get one on the fender flares replaced since it was scratched during shipping and all was fine with the under body insulation.

Hmmmm.... the insulation may be fine, but the recall procedure shows the rivets getting installed as it may become a problem later. The inspection is for the driveshaft and fuel tank vapor line and potential damage. Wondering if they installed the rivets.

I have called several dealers and regarding the avaialibility of a replacement driveshaft (if needed ) and they both indicated they are both unable to secure parts until March 2022....so not to promising timeline for repairs and what do you do if you have some wear present from the falling shielding ---is the vehicle unsafe to drive ???...I took a peak at 3 21 F150's this past week and 2 of them had clear wear marks or light scoring on the driveshaft...are they vehicles suppose to be parked until repairs? I would like to hear from soneone on the forum that knows...to me---and I am not an automotive engineer...very light scoring wouldn't seem (both cases I witnessed seemed like the driveshaft had been more polished in a small area (@ 1 inch) and didn't apear to have any grooves in the metal ...to NOT be capable of causing catastrophic failure...but I do not know----maybe the aluminum driveshaft has properties like carbon fiber...once the fiber suffers any damage ---its integrity is serverly compromised and must be replaced..What say the experts here on the forum? Maybe FORDTECHONE can educate us? Best Regards

I just picked mine up yesterday and asked about it and he said rivets were put in before they could deliver it to me
