Just heard from my local dealer I have my '22 ordered with that there is a stop-sale announced today at 5pm on most F150's. This is due to a driveshaft issue of some sort.

run your VIN, if your 22 was built in Dec as of now you should be good...

Yup! Apparently a person lost an arm from a failure in a Transit. This is not something you should wait on. I’ll let you know if mine has visible issues tomorrow.

Seems like a fairly simple fix. Guy over on the facebook group who works at the Dearborn plant on the assembly line said it’s an easy fix

Yeah, easy to fix at the factory with trained employees, not so easy at some of these stealerships with sub par employees.

Dealer just reached out telling me it’s a 2 hr inspection they have to perform…if it looks secure and passes, they can release the vehicle. On the surface, doesn’t seem to bad. We’ll see

Don't take that truck if there is any marks on the driveshaft, they need to replace it, no matter what.
