I got the extended warranty 100,000 mile and I THINK it was around 1100 to 1200 not too sure.
I've used it several times already.
-Heat actuator on drivers side
-New throttle body
and some other smaller items

There a whole lot of just silly things that can wrong on every truck. An example being before I got my Raptor I had a Dodge Ram and gave it to my son. 1 week after he gets the truck, the passanger side seat stops working and the next week the drivers side seat stop working.

This is not somthing thats used every day, I mean come on what did they make the motors for 20 adjustments only??

Three little motors work each seat, which the dealer sells as a set only. You can get them sometimes on ebay but at the time ( this past Oct), I could not find them. So $800.00 per seat..... $1,600 later everything working.

I would not want to pay to get my Raptors seat with the cooling feature fixed. Thats dumb money thrown out the window. I bet it would be about $2,000 per seat for the Raptor.

I got the extended warranty on mine as well. I believe it was a 8yr/96k warranty bumper to bumper with 100$ deductible. I haggled wi them on price as they have A LOT of wiggle room on warranties and they make tons of money on them!

For those of you who have used the extended warranty - do you pay the bill at the service center and claim it back with the warranty company - or does the dealer just deal with all the payment paperwork for you?

If it's a Ford warranty I think you pay at the dealership, at least that is how it was for my '06 Jeep SRT8. I may get one from that website, pretty reasonable.

I used the Ford warranty a few years back on another vehicle. And all i paid was the deductible 100 bucks for my plan and nothing more. I believe it gets billed to Ford by the dealer.

Anyone know how much the factory warrants cost? I'm trying to judge how much wiggle room I have. My dealer is quoting me $1950 for the 6 yr/100K and $1470 for the 7 yr/48k

In Pa the mark up is 100%so 1950 = a cost of 875.. Tell them you'll pay $1000 and haggle from there. They still need to make some money.
