You can go here FordESP.com : Factory Extended Service Plans

and enter your miles, Vin and info, for a quote. Jeff Houston is my Finance guy that can
answer your questions.

I'm on the road most of the time, and hard to keep up with emails & quotes.

thanks Randy

It was told to me this way, the extended warranty would pay for it self easily if you had issues with your navigation system, and the maintenece plan would be worth it if your shocks failed on you. Aside from that IMO the standard warranty covers anything else for a good period of time.

Sounds like you need an ESP PremiumCare Warr with MORE MILES than Time??
5 year / 125K miles

I was prepared for the dealer to hard sell all of those when I picked up my Raptor but they only tried to push the gap insurance. The guy was downright pissed as I told him directly over and over again that I wasn't interested. He looked like he was ready to blow a gasket.

We went back and forth for 10 minutes on this and I stood firm as I did get the truck for under well under MSRP, the depreciation on these trucks is minimal, and I do have the means to bridge any gap between what the insurance company would pay and what I owe.

I was equally pissed that he presented me 3 options for the gap insurance when I first sat down. None of which of which included NO gap at all.

As far as warranty goes, I knew I was going to void it anyway with the help of 5 Star and maintenance is nothing I can't handle.

Extended Warrantys

I plan on keeping the truck until it blows up and was wondering what you guys paid for an extended warranty or if you think it's worth it. I'm pondering the 100k extended warranty.

If thats what you are planning on, I would get it for peace of mind and you know you are covered. They are complex machines.

Seem like you are going to drive it hard and fast and have fun!!!!!

I got the extended warranty through my Ford dealer. I don't recall what I paid for it but I'm glad I have it. It's not as comprehensive as the original factory warranty but it will cover stuff that goes bad.

I'm out of my factory warranty and the past few days I've had an airbag warning light come on, go off and come on again. It'll be going to the dealership. Don't want to pay for that kind of "repair."
