Looks like it was a perfect day. I used to spend a lot of time out in that area in jeeps and motorcycles until they closed a lot of it down. Still a nice area.
Wondering where that resteraunt was? I don't think I know it.

Its threads like these that make me wish i still was on the west coast.

But about 20 seconds later i remember why i left. :)

Meh, there's lots of BS, politics, and crap on the west coast... But it's also the single greatest place in the country to explore incredible public lands.

If I were to move, Id' probably sell my Raptor since I wouldn't be able to explore and use it in the capacity I currently do... There's nothing like it!

well Matt you will have to let me know when you put a trip together i have to make it out that way at some point this year and why not make it i know i will be coming out for the land rush this year nothing is going to stop me from that this year.

Thanks Matt for rubbing our noses in the sand, about us that live east of the Mississippi river not being able to use our Raptors for what they were designed for.:angry94:

Honestly though, I couldn't own this truck if I didn't take it out as much as I do... Too damn inefficient!

I lived a great portion of my life in San Diego and El Centro. I did alot of desert racing on motorcycles back then. Now that I have my Raptor, I live too far away to play in the sand. :Frustrated:
