whats y'all opinions on getting a exhaust on a GEN2, if so what one?

My only way to actually hear one is on the internet...

Would any Houston owners out there please contact me if you do, would prefer to hear in person before spending money on one

Thanks!

Yes, because many here have thrown huge $$$ at the exhaust in hopes of fixing it.... and then realize you can't make the ecoboost sound better.

Your best bet is using the SS Quiet Flow mufflers and welding them in. You get performance and the nasty ecoboost rasp is gone. Plus, you hear more turbo spool.

Stock. Leave it alone as any louder just amplifies the poor sound of the ecoboost

Pick one....leave it alone or add something.....way to confuse a new guy.

I have the CORSA Xtreme system on my truck, and I think it's the best sounding exhaust out there right now. Borla also makes an excellent system. Ford Performance systems are very expensive, and the Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Stainless Works systems really don't sound very good IMO (lots of rasp, drone, fart can sound).

Definitely check out some videos on youtube and read through other threads here. Lots of good info out there (just filter out all the BS from sascrotch).

Agreed. Leave it alone. I have not seen anyone on here who has found a huge improvement in sound from switching exhausts.

Stock is too quiet. I just did the Gibson muffler and keep the rest of the system stock, and I like the results.
