Traction was his issue, I am waiting on a remod supersnake as a steet machine, I really miss my old one.
I just brought it up cause it was funny that day. The guy was sitting beside me revving it up like he wanted to play,, so we played. I am not waiting for a v8 raptor, i think Ford hit all the impotant points with the 2019 Raptor for off road and a nice truck for on road driving.

So do Hellcats not come with a traction control system? I'm sure the guy had no driving skills whatsoever, but in his defense, keeping it right at the edge of breaking traction is pretty damn tough in a vehicle with an automatic transmission. It's so much easier to keep it right at the limit of traction with a manual transmission.

Hellcats look impressive at the track where they prep the surface and you can do a burnout before each pass. On the street- not so much. No surface prep, no burnout and (most of the time) no driver skill leads to them getting beat by anything that's not spinning it's tires.

They do but there's only so much it can do when you're talking about 707 supercharged hp...even with the full nanny's (street mode) I would easily spin the stock pirellis. Once I switched to PS4s my traction issues all but went away making it very easy to get good launches...even on the street, no prep needed.

Tires are everything to Hellcats and it's well known what comes stock is total crap. Adding a pic of mine to not feel left out.

For starters why talk about racing muscle cars in a Baja truck?

I had a guy eyeing my Raptor and said, “nice truck, but can it take my (BMW) M5?”

I replied, “Sure as hell can, but we’re gonna race across that field around those trees and back!”

I’ll race your hellcats, my track, though.

Who da ho?
In my old sports car, I had plenty of guys line up next to me and rev their engines. I don't street race so they floor it off the line while I ignore them. I'm sure at least a few posted their kill stories on a forum somewhere.

Raptor won’t keep up with a hellcat to 60. I have both and some guys on the track are pulling 2.8 sec to 60. It really is a monster. But I bet you might be close to keeping up with an SS, 392, or GT to 60 with a tune on your raptor. Love both vehicles. Stereo is way better in the Hellcat though.
