I had 3 Raptors and traded for a 2019 F250 Roush Super Duty with the 6.7 powerstroke. I LOVE this truck. The Raptor is easier to drive. Lighter steering, independent front suspension, etc. But this truck makes the Raptor look like a Tacoma next to it. Its HUGE!! And i love it. Very glad i switched. The 6.7 is amazing. Not quick off the line like the raptor but after 20-25mph it pulls HARD!! The new Tremor should be really amazing. I want to let the 10 speed bake in a few years before i get one. I had too many issues with my Raptor 10 speeds.

I will be going back to a SD in the next couple of months. Not that I don't like my Raptor but I need to tow a 38ft trailer. Raptor has a hard time pulled my 18ft trailer. I would keep my Raptor but don't really have room or need for both. As for the ride in the SD I am going with air ride all around. I previously had a 2016 SD with Coilovers, not a bad ride but could be better. I decided to go with air ride on my new one since I spend a lot of time on the road. One person mentioned driving in metro areas in an SD, for that I have another car. I used to drive my previous SD downtown Houston and was a pain in the ass. The Raptor isn't much better but is a little easier.

In all the Raptor is a great truck just wish it could haul/ tow more, but then it wouldn't be a Raptor.

All this talk about the Tremor is interesting. If you look into it, it really only has a limited slip front end that differentiates itself. Sure a few other really small things. One can take the 3K upcharge and use it to build the truck to a better platform. A pretty long thread on SD Forums regarding it.

Bottom line, it aint no Raptor. Great truck for what it is but comparing the 2 isn't really apples to apples. I have 2018 F-350 Platinum and its been a great truck. I am really having a hard time not pulling the trigger on the 20. The 10 speed is really nice and the power upgrade don't hurt either (not really earthshaking difference, but noticeable).

You going Kelderman Air Ride? Just had a friend install their system on an F-450. Nice system.

Yes that is what I am going with. Nothing crazy, just the 5" lift. I like the fact that I can back up to my trailer drop the rear then pick it back up latching the trailer without getting out and the ride is very nice for highway travel.

I seriously considered the F250 for about 2 minutes. That's how long it took for me to find out that it was about 10 inches too long to fit in my garage. Otherwise I think I'd have seriously considered buying one.

Nice looking rig. I am going with the 350 in a SWD. All black like yours. Just different wheels from Specialty Forged again for the F350, might even add some new bumpers from Road Armor, Identity Series so I can have my light bars installed for the back roads. Still have 12 weeks to figure it all out.

I'm curious, why go 350 if you're yanking the suspension anyway? I wasnt aware of any other material differences between the 250 and 350, other than the rear springs and some shock valving.

Also, take a look at the new torsion front swaybar that Carli just released. I'm hoping mine ships today. In theory, it should give you a softer daily ride and the roll control when towing without having to compromise.
