my 19 superduty when stock would bounce over big bumps to the point that it would feel like it was hopping and that I'd probably break something doing more than 10 mph.

With the Carli 2.5" pintop kit, None of that same feeling. Really smooth and I'd dare to say, sans jumping, just as capable as a stock raptor. I honestly have no reason to try to launch a diesel pickup when I use it as the chase truck/tow steed and have zero interest in risking its reliability.

Oddly enough, the superduty feels 2 feet skinnier than my raptor, The track width of my mid-travel raptor is 86" and outside of tire to outside of tire is 98" . My superduty's track width is 68.3".

Yes, a mid-travel raptor has a track width that is 17.7" wider than an f-250.

An f250 is so much "cheaper" to build than a raptor by comparison. even if you go all-the-way with a carli kit, you're done for less than 10K.

I think my truck sorta looks like an HD raptor.

you can be the judge of which you'd choose. I hate money, so I chose both.

I like the idea of the Tremor package, would only get it for Overlanding though. Big trucks are a PITA to drive daily and park in tight (er) spaces.

I initially went down to Ford to look at diesel F250s, this was back in October. I essentially bought a truck as a tax write off, so a near loaded, heavily discounted 2019 F250 toward the end of the year seemed like a solid idea. Then I made the mistake of driving a Raptor, too.

Even at the very last minute, I had them park the F250 and the Raptor next to one another so I could A/B them.

The 16 year old in me decided on a bright blue Raptor vs a dark gray F250, go figure.

Having owned a SD F-250 I can say that the biggest difference will likely be above 40 mph and below 5 mph. The stiffer suspension on the SD, needed for the tow/payload capacity make it a lesser off road rig. Not saying you can't do terrain in the SD, but over rough stuff you just can't go that fast (on stock vs. stock anyway). Just my opinion/observation.

HELL no. When I was initially shopping for my Raptor I had one dealership tell me they had lots of great deals on loaded Super Duties. I said "Dude, that's like me saying I'm looking at GT350s and you telling me you have a Focus ST for a good price. They're unrelated vehicles."

The Raptor isn't just some big truck, it's a performance vehicle. Getting a fat pickup with horrible ride quality is fine if you need to tow, but I find it weird that people who buy Raptors care about other models if they don't tow/haul much.

Yeah. Cuz the raptor is so small and all ;-)

the strange thing is, the Superduty drives like a much smaller truck when compared to even a stock raptor. ( as far as agility, turning radius, parking, etc)

I know it seems a little nuts, but that's how it feels to me. I was taken back at how "skinny" the F-250 is when I first got it.

my f250 actually fits in drive-thrus, my raptor absolutely does not.

they are related. a super duty is probably the most expensive "raptor mod" when you get to the point that it makes more sense to trailer your high-strung steed. ( it would cost me about $3K in tires to drive my raptor from New Orleans to San Diego. 40" KR3s aren't cheap).
