The 91 performance with headers and intake. I had it all on since February. I didn't drive it that hard. Half throttle most of the time. Full occasionally.

I doubt it caused it but will probably never know.

I think it would be hard to fight. There is no way for me to prove it was not the mods they said they warranty it stock and all those parts change the way it runs. I just want to fix it and get it running again and possibly upgrade at the same time if possible.

If you are looking for a short block I have one I'm looking to get rid of. I swapped in a new built motor. My factory motor only had 5k miles when it was pulled inbox me if interested. I think labor I was charged for the swap was 32 hours.

I blew an Engine about a year ago, shot the rod through the block. Thankfully I found a used engine on Ebay for 3k and it only had 12 miles on it. Vins matched the carfax etc. Also offered a 90 day warranty. Just an idea if you plan to rebuild or have someone besides ford install it. Also saved a days worth of labor by removing all the headlights, radiator, etc

I'm gonna say good ******* luck in getting this resolved. I hope you do but I have no faith in the system. You can try contacting @FordService. It's BS to blame the tune for this issue. It's a scapegoat and corporate ford needs to knock this shit off. Greediest people I know are the auto industry. They make money hand over fist but yet they won't back their product without being forced to. ****** me off.

You are unlikely to get this covered under warranty unless you purchased an after market warranty with your tune (some vendors are offering them now). Best option is to find a gently used long block and have that installed or do it yourself if you are confident in your skills with a wrench and can find a copy of the service manual.

I shouldn't have to say this but if you do pay out of pocket, take it to a reputable shop who has experience with the raptor.
