Just had my 2014 with under 500 miles on it stall. It stalled while going fairly slow on a left turn from a 55mph road, thankfully made it through the turn. No codes thrown course it did say LOP but that is expected after a stall. The truck had 3/4 of a tank of gas, note it is on its second tank. First tank the dealer filled up and the second tank I put in with 93, I assume the dealer used 87. Wonder if it was an engine learning issue and letting the idle rev too low.

I will check the vacuum hoses as others have mentioned. Not really like the thought of a 6000+ pound truck stalling with no power steering or assist brakes.

I just had this happen today...2014 screw, 3400 miles. I was driving in D but had it limited to 4th and lower with Advance Trac off. I was on an incline coming to a stop when it stalled. Same code as everyone else "low oil pressure." It wouldn't start right away after coasting back and off the road in neutral. I shut her down, put it in park and tried to restart. Nothing. The electrical system never failed and the engine started after the second attempt. The oil level gauge showed no life for about a mile. WTF?

Talked to service manager today about the stalling. He said the only code it shows in the system is steering angle fault. He believes the truck is sensing something with the steering angle and cutting the power to the point that it stalls. Does this make sense to anyone? He can't find any other problems so they are going to deal with this one and see what happens. I should get the truck back on Monday.

Has anyone else heard any more about this? It happened to me today as well in a parking lot; engine cut out and displayed low oil pressure. I had about 3/4 of a tank of gas and everything else seems to be okay. It immediately started back up no other issues yet.

Thanks Nick. I'll review the post later today. But I'm one stall number 3 on two different trucks.

Alright everyone, here's what is going on. Your fuel control module is losing signal to the truck's computer. My dealership has seen this a few times, on my Raptor and others. For the most part, it is looking like some poor wiring on the part of Ford. However, you should not rule out the possibility of a fuel system failure. For me, it was an easy fix, just replace the fuse that fried due to the wiring and rewire the shit. For others, I'm sure it will be a bit more complicated.

Happened to me yesterday, (2012 with 49k) passing a car on a four lane interstate, going 80mph, tromped the gas to get around someone I had been following for 10 miles that would not get out of the freaking passing lane and was driving anywhere from 60-75, speeding up each time I got close and slowing up when I could not pass ( do you think I was pissed ). Anyway, tromped the gas, the truck downshifted, just got around the car and my Raptor died, lost all power, low oil pressure light with the wrench symbol on the display, luckily I was able to get off the highway without getting into an accident. it's at a Ford dealer now that I have no clue about because this happened over an hour away from home and I am sitting at home now waiting for them to call to see what they found. The truck would not start after this. I check my oil regularly and had 1/2 tank of gas. Frustrating situation. Thanks for the thread, I will tell them to check the fuse if they already haven't. And will give an update.

Dealer just called, said the fuel pump and pump module both were bad, kinda makes sense, once this winter it failed to start once, no fire just turned over, let it sit for 40 minutes and it started.
