Thank you sir. And by being on this forum (and other vehicle forums...) I can assure you I'll notice it. I don't do social media...but I do do vehicle media :)

After posting my original question I came across your posts in other threads and booked marked them. Will use that when I'm at the dealership over the holidays if they say I don't know WTF I'm talking about (it has happened...).

First Ford ever...after 30+ vehicles (I'm old) and I'm really liking this truck. Maybe it's the honeymoon phase...but this thing is the most comfortable/powerful vehicle I've owned. Just hoping the reliability is on par with my Toyotas. I digressed...Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate the help.

Yeah take some documentation with you. Chances are this might be of a deferent language to them.

This is a good all around truck. I’m enjoying mine well past the honeymoon phase and it’s doing well. Fun to mod to. Enjoy it.

One way they will know if the truck has been reset ride height wise is. After you install the springs, the truck will be about 30mm high in the front according to the sensors. Once recalibrated you will be around 0mm. This is also viewable by you using the Forscan diagnostic tool app. You can tap into the module and see it. Believe it’s the VDS module off the top of my head. That’s the one the reset procedure will re zero.

@K223 Can't thank you enough for your help and guidance.

Got my Eibach springs installed today with a VDM reset and alignment.

Truck looks great, rides great... and I'm happy with the results!

I went to my Ford dealer for the work and I'll post all relevant info hopefully to help others.

Stock info ride height and VDM readings.
Measurements taken in same place in my driveway with full tank of gas.

I did two readings. One from the center of the wheel hub to fender lip, the other from the ground to the fender lip. Full tank of gas makes the truck slightly lean towards driver side (no where close to a 4TR). I made sure for both readings I topped off the tank.

40 1/2 driver ground to fender

When I spoke with my service advisor (Carol...she's awesome) I first told them not to wash it. :)

Then I gave her a printout (got this from reading all the other posts and put it into a word doc) explaining how the truck needs to recalibrate "level" after raising the front end. I then spoke with the tech that was doing the work and he said "I'm not aware of this and I've never done any type of software reset". After he read the doc... he said "ok... I think I know what to do".

He absolutely understood what to do after reading the doc I provided him.

Reading all of the posts in this thread and another thread it would appear a lot of people experienced a tech that didn't know what to do. I'm hoping my experience and the word doc helps others educate the service tech.

Here is the word doc I provided the tech

Now all the tech stuff is done... what did this cost me?

offroadalliance.com purchase (shout out to Tyson @OffroadAlliance.com ) 244.22 (includes shipping).

Installation and alignment $662.44

Vehicle forums are awesome. There are so many people taking their time and trying to help and providing their experiences to guide others. Really appreciate it.

I was not able to get a nice side profile shot tonight. Best I could do is this one...

No problem brother ;) Glad I could be of assistance. I feel I was in the middle of learning this process with several others. I already had my springs on for a few months as well. It was hard to tell, but after a while I knew I lost some of the great ride this truck has even on road. But between going back and forth with members here, checking settings in Forscan and going over the data, it proved the reset was essential. Had dealer people say nah, don’t need that etc. finally found a truck shop that knows this truck and said oh yeah, you just need those shocks reset LOL

That’s a nice document and we should use it for the next fellow that needs help. The internet and folks on it is not all BS. There are plenty of folks with knowledge, smarts and experience.

The vendors in this forum are of great help and stand by what they sell. Good pricing too. I utilize them when possible.

Your truck is sitting awesome and looks perfect. I love the leveled look myself. Of course done correctly.

Enjoy that beast and have fun in it.

That post needs to be a stand alone sticky. On other forums you can just click the post number to pull the post out of the thread into another page you can bookmark. I can't do that here, it wants to just give me link code. Unless there is another way to do that? (old guy)

Good info, will ask my dealer if they've done this before.

I need to find some adjustable turnbuckles from the hobby shop! LOL
joking, prob. will not work as the new leverage point might cause issues.

So I started this post a while back !! I have had my Eibachs for around 6 months now and love the ride. But on my 2020 SCAB the nose is definitely still 1/2 " high, I know it's not much but it drives me nuts to look at it when it is parked in certain unlevel places. It looks like way more then 1/2 " at times. What can I do to raise the rear 1/2" to 1" without ******** with the ride quality ? I would rather it look slightly raked then nose up, I need some quality advice please.....IMG_0500.jpg 61594858605__C926A2C5-C3C3-4294-86EB-85747F3A7485.JPG IMG_0155.jpg

Deavers out back?

If you keep the stock wheel size with the Eibach springs would you suggest doing the +2 or +3 Deavers? Not sure if the +3 would be too exaggerated rake or not... Checking out install videos and this looks easier than the fronts.

And I guess as a less expensive even easier install giving the same appearance (not the same ride) would be 3" block kit.
