It has nothing to do with driving responsible. It's all about LAWYERS.

Until you need one! If you had the oil companies ****** your land and told you to get "stuffed" you might have a little different opinion.. Just sayin..

What motorcycle?

PM me your email and I will forward you a scanned article about the my bike. Nothing beats the hard thump of a Scott Shairoff 540 built with a designed cam for the bike, at idle, while in gear..

That's an understatement. Hoss walks into a motorcycle dealership and while looking at the Super Death Bike 9000 the salesman boasts about how "99% of new owners die within 30 days of ownership". Hoss then asks, "do you have anything faster?" LOL

Lol you do know the coyote heads flow better than the 5.8 condor heads...and the coyote is more efficient. ...which is how guys are making 600+hp on 6lbs of boost. The 5.0 ecoboost has been testing in the cobra jet for like a year and its only a few tenths off stock cobra jets and the 5.0 is using tiny urbos off the v6 ecoboost. The coyote is already set up for direct injection as well......so YOU do the math...twin turbo...decent compression and direct injection. Very far from a step back. Coyote engine now with the same psi on a stock gt500 is close to 800hp with supporting mods.

the supercharged 5.0L cobra jet is just as fast if not faster than the twin turbo cobra jet, and considering supercharging is the best way to go for both drivability and reliability in a gasoline powered engine, I hope ford goes down the right road if they do replace the 5.8L with the 5.0L, but honestly the gt500 has taken the high performance ford truck engine and gone to the max with it before, and since ford spent the money to do the research to come out with the supercharged shelby raptor, I'm sure they won't be dropping it by the wayside anytime soon, next gen gt500 will most likely come with a supercharged 4V version of the 6.2L in our trucks with an aluminum block with cylinder sleeves like the current generation gt500, not the 5.0L, I'm sure the 5.0L will continue on with maybe a forced induction version for a road racer, but the gt500 is a muscle car, it's gonna have muscle, and it's going to have to have more than the outgoing 5.8L with street car reliability for the gt500 nameplate to survive

Ford didn't develop the Shelby Raptor, Shelby did. 2 separate companies that sometimes work together. There's the Ford "Shelby" GT500, then there's the actual Shelby GT500 Super Snakes.

Ford racing made the official tune for the whipple supercharger for the 6.2L that makes 500 HP and 500 ft-lbs to the ground throughout the powerband, Ford paid for that, ford racing did the majority of the development to make the 700 HP naturally aspirated 777 engine based off the 6.2L, Ford developed the two different programmings for the factory 6.2L engine and it's only in two trim levels of the F-150 and the F-250/350 gas engine which next to nobody buys, and they developed the groundwork for the shelby raptor, if Ford was just gonna throw away an entirely new engine after only five years in production for a total of maybe 100,000 vehicles, they wouldn't've throw all the money they have at the engine

Plain and simple the 6.2 Will not fit In the next mustang..... let alone with 4v heads. And who said they were throwing it away...the cobra jet has never ben offered with the 6.2

Owned 2011 xlt ecoboost 4x4 3.55. Great truck got 18 mpg over the 60k of ownership. Not a single problem. Loved the power, leaving from every stop left a smile on my face.

Compared to the raptor, it feels like eco would beat my raptor to 55-60 then be a toss from there. Rolling power i think the raptor would win if i had it in manual or tow haul mode. Only downside to the eco was the noise or lack of.

As far as the complaints, any mass produced products sold as many places as the eco will come across issues. The 5.0 has oil burning issues if you look. I have seen some 6.2 threads about engines blowing.

Also about direct injection and turbos.... have none of you complaining about it owned a diesel? An eco drives like a diesel and is set up like one. Hell their direct injection pressure is barely anything compared to diesel engines.

I know for fact that Ford is coming out with a twin engine design using the 3.5 engine with 4 turbos...think about that. 7.0L Quad turbo...booooinggg!!!

7.0L W-12 quad turbo is what I heard. 730hp/840 ft-lb torque!
