I think the height is just an illusion created by the absence of the front skid plate.

I too was hoping that they would be killing the thing off after the 2012 model, if not they will lose their appeal and value.

I would hope that they would opt for the ecoboost or 5.8L before they throw the 5.0L in it.

Maybe they are hiding the headlights because it could finally be getting HID's and LED signals. The LED's are one of the additions to the 2013 SVT GT500 so maybe the Raptor will join it.

Back has a 12, or what looks like a 2012. Mixed and matched thrown togethor truck makes you wonder if it is a powertrain mule.

The back is just a blackened version of the '11. At least, that's what I see

Take a look at the grill cover with "graffiti paint" - there's an extra section above the grill that if it is covering the grill it means the hood is notched. Maybe that strip of material is how they attached it to the hood. Or maybe not (maybe it's a redesign of the grill and hood).

I don't think there's an extra section. It seems that the hood line is running perfectly straight across like in previous Raptors. You can see the 3 marker lights in the middle and they sit right where they would on a '10, '11, or '12. Also, if it were sectioned you'd be able to see through the cover and see the famous FORD Raptor Grille but you see that it ends where those marker lights are.

So to end the hood story. Zoom in. Looks like the cover in front of the grill is velcro-ed to the hood and it's attached TO the hood. There looks to be NO CHANGE in the hood/grill.

Humvee states it as I see it as well, the rear wheel is a painted/blackened version of the 2010/2011 wheel.

Other than that, I doubt they're gonna shove anything different in the Raptor, go through the R&D and all that when they're selling every single one they're making.

But, the EcoBoost is already IN the F-150's -- so it would be just that easy...

Okay, I retract my first statement. Those rear wheels look different from a few other angles that I've found.

Doesn't look like the 2012's either. I really like those though...

I agree. Hmm, I don't know what that is. Oh well. I like my 2011. It's gonna have to be pretty badass for me to want to get a 2013.

Not sure how the Ecoboost would be in slow off roading with the slight turbo lag, seems like you would have to give more throttle and then the turbo's would kick in. I like the 2012 wheels blacked out, they look bigger than 16" in the pic compared to the '10 '11 style.

According to InsideLine looks like it may just be a new front end as all F150's are masked in the front.

Those are 2012 wheels for sure. I Might just have to take a mid-week trip to Answer Borrego and see what I can find!!
