yup, mine has gone out twice. when you press the heated seat button does it light up for a split second then shut right off? if so, at least in my case, it indicated that the heated seat element had shorted and burned. it actually burned the seat foam and leather a bit.

did they give you a new seat ?
that's another saga i will post about once ford gets back to me.

yeah my heated seat blew months ago but i just got around to bringing it in when the temp dropped.

My drivers seat gets a hot spot so hot on my right thigh I have to turn it off. I MEAN HOT!

yeah? mark my words...it's just not gonna turn on one day. that's what mine did. i noticed with both times mine blew that it was getting really hot. too hot right under my right thigh.
when it does what i described above you're gonna say BIRDMAN WAS RIGHT! and run on here to tell me.
