I drive in sport mode with Baja exhaust most of the time. I like the way the Baja mode opens up the exhaust and gives it that deep rasp.

I wonder if I’m one of the few that thinks Baja exhaust mode sounds “fatiguing” to the ears in the cabin. Driving on the highway is the worst with the drone coming into the cabin in Baja exhaust mode.

So I’m mostly using Normal Mode + Normal Suspension + Baja exhaust + Comfort Steering for around town - at least until I can’t stand the sound anymore lol

Highway - I’m 99% using Sport Mode + Sport Suspension + Comfort (for longer trips) or Sport Steering + Quiet Exhaust.

Sport Steering/handling and Baja exhaust! If ever your in a tunnel or passing under multiple overpasses....roll the window down and hit the gas....sounds like a Formula 1 car! Milage 14/15 around city.
Ditto on the overpass, LOL! Same configuration, except Sport exhaust till I spot a potential race or overpass. Adding in Sport mode to hold gears longer once in awhile, downshifting to stoplights sounds nice. 17-18mpg mixed on 93 octane.

I realize this is an old thread but I just picked up a 24 gen 3 F150. I had a 19 gen 2 and the drive mode selections seem to be different. I spent zero time at the dealer going through the car but I cannot find drive modes. I can find exhaust, steering and suspension changes. Is that the sum of it all? I also see you can save them uner R mode for a default.

There’s a dial underneath your trailer brake controller that switches drive modes

Round knob on the dash. It’s in the center of all the 2wd/4wd buttons

In town and on the freeway sport shocks. Baja exhaust. Sport steering.
Drive mode normal

I’ve got 2080 miles on it seems I’m getting 18 + mpg on freeway with no/minimal traffic. In light/moderate traffic it’s about 17.5+-
In town on streets it drops between 9.5-12.5. I’m 4 tanks of fuel in and am in CA.
2024 3.5 37”

I’ve got the exhaust set to quiet from 9pm-9am. The rest of the time is mostly normal or sport mode if I need the trans to be quicker to react. Off road suspension mode inside the loop in Houston, roads are terrible.
