It’s a Rolling Off-Road computer that takes most of the skill out of Off-Roading. All you are left with is to pick a good line and worry about pinstripes and break-over angles when you’re running Razor Trails…lol

Sure does take most of the skill out! Trail control is almost off road autopilot. Almost lol

And if you haven’t been to Raptor Assault you should go. Not only do you get to abuse and jump Ford’s Raptors but those instructors will teach you and then let you put all of the driving modes to work.
I’m scheduled for RA at the end of the month, I’m really looking forward to it, not only for the instruction, but the opportunity to drive their Raptor in the environment it’s designed for….instead of urban sprawl.
Rock crawl mode and Baja really change the whole truck into another beast. You don't really know what these modes do until you use them as intended but when you do use them as intended you'll have a new level of appreciation for the tool you bought.
I already have a lot of respect, and appreciation for this pickup, I’m anxiously awaiting my learning opportunity at the end of this month. I’ll become far more informed, and knowledgeable about all the modes at RA, but these two really interest me, can’t wait to learn more about the “tool” I purchased.

My first Gen2 got itself stuck (I was completely innocent) in mud in my own backyard. Had I known about the driving modes, I wouldn’t have had to call a
d a m n tow truck and pay couple hundred to get pulled out.

I think it’s still the same as a couple of years ago. Look up Raptor Assault class select UT somewhere in there they will ask for your Vin# to verify your eligibility. Someone that went recently should have the link they sent or more current info. Have fun
