Weird stuff going on in the guts of my truck!
I stopped at an intersection for red light, the light turns green, I step on the gas to go only to feel the truck jerk along like someone is killing the ignition and restarting over and over.
The truck never died so I coasted to the side, put in park, checked the idle and accelerator, all normal, put it back in gear and drove home without issue.
Got in her this morning and in route to work same damn thing happened so I drove her to the dealership.
They just called and said she is throwing transmission error codes.

The truck gets a good off road work out just about every weekend including a couple hours in "off road mode" but only has 36k on it.

Anybody experience anything similar?

Have you heard anything new from the dealership today, Dirt Bag? I'm always just a PM away if you need me to research ways to help.

Thanks for assist getting it to the attention of a district manager.
I think I will need the help.

They cleared the code and drove it and could not get a repeat issue.
I picked the truck and it DID repeat on the way home.
So back I go in the morning.

The truck feels like it can't find second gear and it just slides in to neutral and I coast through whatever intersection. It eventually gets in to second and no more issues.
Never know when it will happen which is the real pain.
No Ranch work for me this weekend...

Sure thing, Dirt Bag; I'm happy to help. It looks like your regional customer service manager (CSM) gave you a call on Friday. Be sure to let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist.

Incase this thread ever gets looked at...
Just adding details as to the haunted transmission.
Dealer read an error code and replaced a shift solenoid.
Worked for a couple day then same shift problem occurred. This time I noticed the gear indicator on the console showed the truck shift from 1st to 4th at take off and then while coasting through an intersection it finds second gear.
Then two more consecutive time while working on the ranch in 4WD high range and on a climb out. That was bad because the truck lumbered and started to roll backwards, down hill. I had to carefully brake while in a muddy off camber hillside to take a another stab at getting out and it did just fine the second try. Then it did the same thing the next day in similar conditions.
After reporting this they worked with a factory rep who sent them a data recorder to install (like a airplane's black box) and now I am waiting for it to happen again so it can be recorded and they can hopefully solve this.
Kind of a ****** as when I purchased the truck all I wanted was the best, toughest off road truck I could buy. After several warranty issues all before 36k (all handled to my satisfaction) I wonder what happen when it is out of warranty? Is this thing gonna last?
We all know the prices of these beasts and I am wondering if I spent wisely.
Time will tell I suppose.
