I faced the same problem twice in my Ford Raptor 2019, and I went to the Ford maintenance department, and they told me that it was because of the front collision sensor that had been hit and had to be replaced with the front bumper bases, so I refused that because it would be out of warranty coverage and expensive.Started my 2019 truck with 14k miles this morning and received a "Drive Control Malfunction, Service Required' error message on the screen. The truck drives normally but cannot select a drive mode other than "Normal". I shut it down, waited ~6 hours to restart and it still has the same error. There were zero signs of anything wrong prior to today. Research shows it's a somewhat common failure on Ford and Lincoln products and points to dropped communication to one of the shocks or sensors. I made a service appointment (I had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation later this week anyway) and will post the results. More to come.....
And in the evening I went home and I removed the collision sensor and put it back and tightened the upper screw, and in the morning the next day when I went to work the car was very normal and the alarm off, and the second time when the problem appeared I loosened the upper screw and it came back to work again Without any costs, I registered on the site to convey to you my experience, and I use Google for translation. I hope that there are no spelling or linguistic errors in writing. Thank you
