I'm sure she does wear a cape.

However, she is a Ford Customer Service Rep.

Ok info sent. And as I told her, not looking to cause trouble for the dealer, I actually like them much better than my previous/local dealer (don't get me started) but I don't have the super extended warranty and didn't buy it from them so that may be why I'm currently a pedestrian. Funny and off topic, fist time since I was a teenager I don't have a vehicle. very odd feeling

OK PM on it's way...but, no offense intended I just don't know...who are you? LOL

Hi DCSVT1,

I'm a member of Ford's Social Media team and the customer service rep for this forum. Your case escalation information is waiting for you in your inbox. :)

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

Hopefully the previous owners didn't tune it ...

What dealer are you using?

I brought it to Miller Ford in Lumberton NJ. My previous truck; an 02 F150 Flairside I ordered new from Medford Ford. The sales part was great BUT the service department there is short of a monkey with an adjustable wrench. I had nothing but issues with them so with this one I wanted to try a new dealer. I brought it to Miller a couple weeks ago for an oil change and the experience between them and M.F. was like coming out of a cave and seeing the sun for the first time. They were professional, courteous and quick. I think the engine "malfunction" had nothing to do with them and I wasn't beating on it...it was just what it was. Again, I'm not ticked off at them just the truck & Ford. With the 02 if they needed it for a day to do whatever a loaner was no problem. But now - it'll be down for 2 weeks + and no loaner or rental credit... "that's part of the extra warranty coverage that you don't have" I guess I just wasn't expecting that and it caught me off guard.

I got it from a dealer waaaaaaay out on Long Island and was told it was daddy warbucks occasional beach buggy and winter ride to their second home in VT at a ski lodge, but spent most of the time in a climate controlled garage. It's in like new condition and for an 2010, when I got it in September only had 25k on it so I think they took good care of it, doubt they tuned it or anything... but you never really know.

And thank you Crystal, i owe you big time!!!
