Drag race mod

I spent the past 20yrs drag racing mustangs and my advice is Sport Mode 4A and build as much boost on the Brake as you can on the line, at least that’s what works for me. I Had been racing at Race Legal since they started but now in FL with a Raptor. Good luck

I would personally do mods for off road improvement, rather than drag racing...Its a pick up truck and purpose built off road truck, that's where it shines most. But after all its your truck do what you want.

Gentlemen,

Drag racing, I was in Qualcomm, San Diego 1/8 mile racelegal event. I went 1/8 of a mile in 8.934 sec at 77.31 miles an hour with intake/tune. While drag racing I have been changing through sport/baja frequently.

My question is: what do you guys think is the best mod for drag racing or rolling at 20-40 mph.

Dude, WTF is wrong with you?! Your momma drop you on your head when you were a baby? Raptors are not Engineered nor built for drag racing... if you want to drag buy a rice burner and sell your Raptor for God Sakes! #facepalm.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I took my Focus RS through some mega whoops out in the AZ desert this weekend. It seemed to do pretty well at it even though it wasn't designed for it.

Then I took my Raptor out to the drag strip and left my off-road monster RS back at the house. I capped the weekend off by hitting a road course in the Raptor to race a bunch of Porsche's. I feel like it did pretty well!

See what I did there?

Maybe go post at the RS forum and they could help you out with some mods to make it kick ass off road. That's what it's designed for after all.

I did that, and they got all pissy that I wanted to put coilovers and bypasses on all four corners so I can send it.
