What exactly do you mean regular? The regular 37x12.50s on the BFG website are different than the load C ones built specifically for the Raptor.

Don’t know about the secret part, but basically, yes.Guess we are going by what we read somewhere on the internet vs what BFG specs are. I posted the specs but apparently there is a top secret raptor 37X12.50R17/C 116S that weighs lighter than whats listed on their site.
I just meant the normal load D 37s they’ve made for years. I didn’t say they were lighter than the 35s.What exactly do you mean regular?

Good facts and points! I agree wheels wont effect as much as tires, but im super curious to see what 10 plus lbs of wheel weight lost on each corner results in 0-60/feel/mpg. Kind of want to buy a Draggy to do 0-60 test and see if it effects it.I just meant the normal load D 37s they’ve made for years. I didn’t say they were lighter than the 35s.
From BFG’s website:
37’s are 69.6lbs
Raptor 37’s are 64.8lbs
Raptor 35’s are 63.6lbs
Nobody’s gonna notice 1.2lbs per tire. What you’re gonna notice is increased moment of inertia and taller gearing on the 37pp from the tires. But it’s still gonna be significantly more responsive than most 37’s people typically throw on a Raptor.
Also lighter wheels don’t equate 1:1 with lighter tires since the tire weight is distributed so much further out.
I would guess losing 10lbs on the wheel would more than make up for 1-2lbs extra on the tire.Good facts and points! Exactly, my thought behind it is to lose that little bit of sluggishness some people complain about compared to a 35”.I would guess losing 10lbs on the wheel would more than make up for 1-2lbs extra on the tire.
