6.2 Down Turn

i love my mbrp turndown. i wasnt sure i could get used to the highway drone but i hardly notice it now. sounds great around town when ya stick yur foot in it. cold starts in my garage in the morning is music to the ears.

Damn turn downs on stock muffler is ghetto. Does that mean I'm in with the OGs?

Unless you stick head under the vehicle you are not going to be able tell the difference between Stock or aftermarket. I've been riding around with the stock muffler with turndowns for well over a year and I get compliments about the sound all the time, and there is no drone & it only cost me $40.

Believe me, there's a difference. I'm glad that you're happy with your job, but the fact is the MBRP is louder and produces (in my opinion) a much more desirable exhaust tone. The drone? Yeah, there's drone and it makes me happy...but when the change in the cup holder starts rattling that's when my tail really starts wagging!

To bad Magnaflow doesn't have a down turn for the raptor. They have a really good sound to their products. So MBRP it is then.

Just buy a Magnaflow muffler and make a turn down. The turndown "systems" is nothing more than straight peices of pipe, a muffler, and an angled tip. My 2 first exhausts on my truck were homemade turndowns. One was a Borla muffler and the other a mgnapack. Very cheap and easy mod for u or a shop to do
