Your dog must not shed. Mine are dog hair magnets and take forever to get clean.

I've got a white AmStaff and she sheds like it's going out of style. Her fur is short but coarse so it "needles" in to the fabric of everything and usually needs to be picked out one piece at a time. That said, the covers are there to protect the seats and that's what they're doing. The best way to clean them is to use the power head of the vacuum or one of those sticky lint rollers. Not 100% effective but I rarely have backseat passengers and when I do they are wearing mountain biking clothes so they don't really care.

Fawn AmStaff. Especially on the black covers. I keep a lint roller in the truck to clean up after he sheds through the blanket.

On here I used sunrise tactical and although not cheap the quality of the work shows it and it gets you storage under the seat for simple things..

Thanks for the sunrise tactical idea. My lab sheds all kinds of hair and I'm tired of busting my ass to clean it up. I thought they would be more expensive but it's not too bad.

In most states in the us its illegal for an animal to be unrestrained in a vehicle which is similar to European laws.
