it's hard to get 3K-5K over MSRP for Socal ?

escondido ford says they 'only' markup $5k whereas others mark up $10-15k.

you can talk to penske ford in la mesa, they only sell at msrp but i heard the line is long.

order out of state for msrp and pay Ford a few hundred to have it transported to the dealer closest to you.

or find one of out state and make a trip out of it, i did and drove mine a little less than 1900 miles home back to SD.

thanks, I will call them. The Ford dealer in Riverside wanted 25K over MSRP but they still had 9 sitting in the lot.

Looking for one as well, want to pay MSRP (or ideally less, but that may be too far a stretch)

Any leads on dealers near CA that do this?

Lake Elsinore Ford and Temecula Ford are at $20-$30k ADM. Tons of dealerships have been posted throughout selling at MSRP. After I finish building on the Gen 1 and am ready for an upgrade I will be buying out of State for Sure.

I like the idea of doing a long drive home across multiple states, it would be a blast!!

It's not THAT bad. I ordered mine from Penske in June and took delivery in October. Certainly worth the wait to save $5-15k, especially for a truck that most people buy as a "toy"

If anyone wants my sales persons contact number, shoot me a PM.

you can try nevada or arizona, msrp might be the best you can get. i was on cars.com and saw one that was $1500 off in texas, didn't contact them though. i got mine for $4k off due to a dealer error, but they honored it in the end. but i had to travel over to mississippi to pick it up haha.

lol, i only contacted escondido because i saw one drive by me.

yeah, it's just what i read/heard i didn't contact them, i honestly wasn't looking to buy until later this year but then this deal popped up and the timing was right. so why not? haha.

one member did call them and they said they didn't have any allocation, so maybe news got out and they got swamped since you bought yours.

Certainly possible. I ordered mine right when the order banks for 2018 opened up so I wouldn't be surprised if their allocation has been dried out.

MSRP deal here but I had to go out of state (in Massachusetts and I'm in FL). I ordered mine back in Nov 2016... by early 2017, it locked and build was scheduled for March but then pushed to April 2017. I picked it up from the dealership on June 2017.
