When they named the warranty BS the "jeep wave" you knew it was over lol
Which by the way turns out blows. The seatbelt on my mom’s Wk2 just broke and they told her 2 weeks . I tore the service manager up and same with “case manager “ at “Jeep wave”. The brand is dead . All motors suck now.

Extra points if you find a Kaiser stamp on it :). 63-70. Such a beautiful lines on that. With durability to match. Never forget what they took from us lol. International scout near me that had a body off restore is quite a site too. Love those possibly the most.

Years ago an acquaintance of mine had a "tastefully modified" Rolls Royce. He mentioned going to the only RR dismantler in the state to get some parts, and the look of disgust and revulsion he got from them. That's the moment he decided to go full in; adding a complete roll cage, twin spare tires in the trunk, and crazy graphics. He enjoyed the other RR owner's hate so much that he would honk, flash headlights AND wave whenever he passed one. ;)

I was 8 (polaroid days) or so but i remember the big ass bumper and the utility bed. He would drive through the foliage if the trail was too small. Good times.

Scouts are underrated. Shame the rust got most of them, much like my beloved K5.

Scouts were originally planned to be built with plastic bodies from 3m... God I wish they would have followed through... my 77 is a bucket for sure!
