Do the '19's have the same issues as '17 and '18?

Does/did your 2019 have any of the engine/transmission issues often discussed here?

OT but I think the dealership must have put 89 octane in when they filled it up ... my first fill up the other day was 93 octane and it smoothed things out quite a bit.
does it really need 93? or is 89 fine?

I'm sure it would run fine on both. Manual says minimum 87 octane, although not sure why you would purchase such an expensive vehicle just to hold it back by saving a few pennies on lower octane fuel.

It runs fine on both but doesn't make the claimed horsepower unless you run 93 octane.

No.
I had an '18 and put a little over 4000 miles on it and it was great in every regard. Within the first week I took it out on some very rough roads between Camp Verde and Happy Jack. Zero problems noted.
Now I have a '19 with about 2500 miles and I have only one drive train concern; I experience a clumsy/hard shift from 3rd to 4th (sometimes 5th). It feels like a poorly timed shift with a manual where you don't give enough gas when you release the clutch pedal.

My 17 has about 20k miles and have had no issues or engine noises. Tires already need replaced but could be the way I drive it....

I have a '19 with just over 2,000 miles. No issues. One item I noticed initially was rough shifting especially in sport mode. It was first filled with 87 octane along with the second tank. Now this could also be my driving, or the gas, as I was getting used to the truck. Then I switched to 93 and it smoothed out and sport mode shifts are clean and smooth. I have also gotten better at understanding the truck and how to drive it.

If you move forward and get one, you won't regret it. It is so fun to drive.

I have a 2019 with ~1,800 miles that I've owned for a little over two weeks (1,400 miles were the return trip home after purchasing from out of state dealer). No mechanical problems noted. Only issue I sometimes have is the Sync 3 system not recognizing my iphone when plugging in via the usb ports. Happens very occasionally and carplay won't initiate / work... hoping its a system issue that will be corrected in the next software update?

We have a 2019 Ruby Red 2360 miles on her. Only complaint is smile hurts a little a bit when driving. Love the suspension, solves the speed bumps smoothed the ride with 34 pounds on all 4 tires.
