Hey guys. I have been looking at the General Grabber Muds and I'm wondering if I need them. How much better are they than the stock tires? I'm looking to do the things like the Los Coyote run and I'm wondering if anyone has done the run with stock tires on this site? If you did please tell me how the stock rims and tires held up.
Thanks -Scuatchman

No I did not. Sorry I can't be more help. Is that run muddy? The BFG's are a decent tire. Good street manners, good dirt traction, and decent wet traction. I don't think you'll find an all terrain tire with better road manners.

As a rule of thumb to keep my wallet fat, run them with stock first then decide if you need the upgrade.

Do you NEED them? Probably not. Would they help? Heck ya!

I will be getting them when my stockers wear out.

My stockers chunked up really bad in Primm after 2 trips and a romping good time in New Mexico. Have the Toyos now and while they are great in the MUDD I may have to take them back West and try them out.
Kinda wondering how these will do at 80 and yank the wheel left or right.?
The stocks did good in high speed, fast turns. Wheels were no problem at all.
