I cut off the resignator before the muffler and with the cut out closed sounds good. 2011 n up they placed resignators n they block majority of the sound. sounds alot better with out them

Will removing the resonator void the factory warranty? They said replacing muffler is fine, but i thought id wait till warranty was done to remove res

I asked. The service manger I deal with at the dealer and he said anything behind the cats should be fine! Lol u want to be friends with some one in ford trust !!

haha good thing you said that i looked under my 2010 and no resignator haha my cutout shipped out yesterday im hoping itll be here by tomorrow so when i have it on the lift to do the perch adjustment i can throw that thing in there :peace:

Yea it's. A nice mod your gonna like it and can't beat it for the price and warranty r ya going to weld it or clamp it I clamped mine!

I'm going to go the welding route with mine I think. After debating it I decided not to order the clamps. I think I'll just be happier with it welded in. The OCD streak in me would drive me nuts knowing I clamped it.

yea the price is great! i got the clamps for now but i think later on i might get it welded in before the texas run just to make sure noting happens to it haha

yea i put a few tacs on mine ... i was gonna be down at the baja 250 in march n def dont want that falling off lol

Yea I didn't even bother with the clamps haha so I have 2 clamps just sitting here I had a local muffler shop weld it on and it only cost me 40 bucks for them to cut the exhaust weld the cutout in and I even had them hack off my tail pipes so it dumps right behind the rear axle I couldn't say no to a price like that and it's a clean well done job! I just wired it up today and let me tell you HOLLY HELL I have to try so hard not to run around town with that thing wide open haha it's worth every penny I spent :peace:
