Added to the shock build.

When you put the hat back on make sure where the GREEN dot is shown lined up with the green dot on the shock. It is generally above the place where the needle goes to charge the shocks.

Failure to do this means the lower bolt will not be aligned correctly with the hat orientation. So you get to pull it out, re-compress the spring and spin the hat. Not that we did this of course...

The biggest thing I have run into is keeping the needles in decent shape. Seems like when I use the gas to pop out the floating piston, there is a reaction force that wants to bend the needle. Thankfully the recommended supplier provides two needles, but have a few more wouldn't hurt

We have gone through about a needle for 1 shock rebuild. They are delicate for sure. Ordered a bunch for doing the shock swaps. You can use it more but as our average is a needle per 4 shocks.

Also had a seal on one of the shocks we did for @Trick_Raptor go out. that is 1 in 24 in regards to kit being worth the fix. He is coming up so it can be taken apart so we can understand what really happened.

I found out how to get some of the Fox specific parts to rebuild shocks. You can email the offroad department off their website to get these Raptor Specific Parts.

These are if damaged or messed up
- Bleeder screws
- Thread in Bearing (Blue cap where all the seals and bleeders go in)
- Rubber pellets (nitrogen charge port)

Also in a pinch you can use the Thread in bearing from a rear and front on either. Difference is fronts are on top are a tad wider. Only do so if you need to in some wacky circumstance but still relaying info.

What about shock guards?

The screws are just standard bolts. Just need to go to ACE and get pitch. I am assuming they are 20 but not confirmed yet.

Cost is $20 plus tax and shipping for the guard.

So figure $32 for a piece of plastic. Kind of pricey.
