Reuse use the bolts. Some say swap it but we always reuse and tq to spec.

Depends on what school of thought you are in.

Havent been able to find this through search and was hoping you could help:

Generally how often are you guys replacing the upper strut mounts and spring isolators during your own rebuilds? Do they generally hold up pretty well or do you see them wearing out pretty quickly on these trucks?

Seems like it would be safer to swap them out but they seem like they're in good shape after disassembly/inspection (60k miles of unknown use in my case, appears to be mostly street driven but could be wrong).

unless it shows signs of damage you would not need to replace it for a while. Really the only reason to change them.

i didnt really see anything about setting the height of the IFP piston.. is there a spec?
It is covered at the start of the thread. Basically you go about an eighth inch or so below the ring. There is a mm spec in the start of the thread I believe as there was quite a bit of discussion when the first rebuilds took place.

Fox said there is no preset. Set it with Mark one eyeball at about 1/4 in range. U can set it more as the fluid amount will be the true preset
