well done. Didn’t Guy get a couple tools to make the trim removal easier as well?

Just checking. I’d take a hard look at stepping up the bass a little more than the 300w Kenwood. It’s enough with the gain almost all the way up, but I think a 10” ~450 - 500w might be more suitable to what we really need here.

Yes but it won't fit in the Sony sub box [emoji23]

I tried to figure out a way to convince the stock enclosure to hold a 10.... just not gonna work out.

I considered making an enclosure with relatively the same dimensions as the stock one, but with the surface area to mount a 10.... but the clearances are SO tight to do it in wood... means pulling out the rear sound deadening.

Wrapping the stock enclosure in dynamat, inside and out, wth a small amount of polyfill made a big difference in the sound... it's worth it for 35 bucks.

Give that a shot

Correct List can you verify?

I am a newbie on the audio side of things been following this thread and going to pull the trigger on the audio system. I am going to have a friend install it all as he is more familiar with audio installs. Can someone take a quick minute and look at my Amazon list and Crutchfield list just to verify I got everything and didn't miss anything! This would be much appreciated. I was thinking of having him do the Dynomat but wasn't sure what to purchased if you can help with that as well be awesome. Thanks!!

looks pretty complete - the Dynamat is really simple to install - even if you just do the doors it makes a big difference!

it's basically an extra layer between the metal door panel and the door skin
