DIY 6.2 Spark Plug Change

@mprice1234 would you post a picture of the page in the 2010 F-150 Owner's Manual that shows what the plug gap should be. In the 2014 owner's manual it's page 295.

Ford never put out a full Raptor manual only a thin supplement. They don't list the 6.2 in the manual for F150 in 2010. You have to look at the 2011 manual for specs for the 6.2. The supplement only says see your Ford authorized dealer under spark plug specs but does show to change at 100,000 miles. The 5.4 gap in the 2010 manual is the same as the 6.2 gap in the 2011 manual which doesn't seem right to me since the 2014 manual shows a different gap.

The spark plugs of a Ford Raptor Gen 1 are pre-gapped at 0.031"1. The manual states that the gap for a 6.2L V8 is between 0.041 and 0.047 inches (1.04-1.20 mm)2. However, NGK says that a gap of 0.030 inches is acceptable for their spark plugs2. The spark plugs are factory gapped at 0.040 inches and after 150K miles they were burned down to a gap of 0.060 inches3.
Google says the same as above.
So, it's pretty much clears as MUD looking at the manuals and online for different years with the same exact engine.

Thanks for the advice and info I’ve always been the back yard mechanic and done my own work but when I got this truck I thought it’s got turbos and computers so I’m done now you guys have given me hope I know my limits but it’s looking good right now so thanks again
