Disabling sync controls while driving

unfortunately, without seeing the truck for myself, i can not be certain of the wiring that has been done to your vehicle

If I pulled the nav screen out could I tell what it has?

Ok. There never was a camera in the tailgate. There is a aftermarket license plate cover camera that is hooked up. When I put the truck in reverse the nav screen pulls up the camera.

Lift the rubber matt on the dash speaker, remove the 2 7mm screws and lift the speaker out, check there or behind the glove box, these are the 2 places most people place there aftermarket bypass systems.

you have to find out where that unit connects to
