No, I was thinking it was the same but mine was a in the earlier stages of what his sound was like. It's definitely not as loud as hisDoes it sound like this with the hood open?
Engine noise
Anyone else experienced noise like this? Warm idle. I do have the cam phaser issue at cold start. Not sure if they’re related. 2018, March build. The video makes it sound louder than it is, but it’s still annoying.www.fordraptorforum.com
That's good to hear, it was a new sound to me I'm the cabin, went outside and heard it as it was kinda faint. Was just wondering if was the start of something bigger as I try to stay on top of maintenance! Thank you!I hear nothing aside from a normal engine idling.
I hear you for sure, I definitely agree it's a faint sound, but I'm such a hyperchondriac when it comes to my vehiclesI got to tell ya, I don't hear anything out of the ordinary. Not trying to be a smart ass and my ears are NOT very good but man I really just don't hear it. Try putting the phone there and then starting the engine.
I've heard that noise it last for like 30 seconds and then goes away. I was told it was waste gate rattle and is normal right?Cam phasers make a noise on start up only that sounds like bad rod knock, you can’t miss it. You’re just hearing the DI system, sounds normal.
Just like a normal mechanic....
That’s a heavy line technician; they do the engine work. They are still diagnosing the issue…. In the dealer voicemail I think he said it is now being seen by the “heavy service” technician? Never heard of that.
Sounds like it may be there for a while thenThat’s a heavy line technician; they do the engine work.
