GEN 2 "Diesel" idle sound warm engine?

I got it back yesterday. They said it was because my oil level was on the low side of the hash marks? They topped it off and said bring it back if it keeps doing it.

Makes sense in that being lower would make this noise?

The ticking noise...

no oil on the lifters..
