And here we are: not a single person has told me where I could get a 2022 ford raptor with good options without waiting months… so go buy your Trx, wrangler, or your whatever else other than a ford raptor…

Oh and by the way I sold my 17 raptor and bought a 22 ram 3500 Ho cummins megacab… I’m selling it for more than I paid for it because buyers want them now, not in 2-4months.

I signed the deal and got the GM to give me first shot at an allocation for a ‘23 raptor R build when the books open up and will buy this new raptor back for what I just paid for it….

There are many reasons including Ford as a whole cant seem to get their sh*t together. First the Bronco release and then the Raptor. Seems like the other guys are doing a better job at getting around todays issues.
The other issue I’ve mentioned many times. Dbag dealership owners backed by dbag Ford “leadership”.

You will find a gen 3 at the price point you want when the gen 4's are out.

Where can I get a Raptor today for MSRP?

I can order one for MSRP Monday morning when my usual dealer opens, but I won't pay $70K for a base model even though the new base model has almost everything the 801A used to have, aaaand I wouldn't see it for 6 months. so you are correct, I can't get one today for MSRP.

I've owned all sorts of foreign and domestic trucks, cars and SUV's and I can honestly say that buying a new Raptor was my least enjoyable vehicle purchasing experience. Both times. And I paid $5k over each time when the dealer was adamant that every Raptor must be marked up by $15k. It is what it is. But the thought of walking into a Ford dealership to shop for a new vehicle now makes my skin crawl. You'd think Ford would realize how off-putting this all is. Also, a "halo car" like the Raptor is should have the exact opposite effect on people. It should make me want to check out other Fords instead of making me want to avoid their dealers like the plague.

You should wait and buy a Raptor Type R at MSRP (or less) and then tell us all about it.

Wasnt even looking to buy a gen3 raptor right now with hopes to get a Raptor R allocation. But I just wanted to see what the market was like after i sold my '17. I randomly searched for raptors in my area and a dealership in ATL had one that landed yesterday so i just decided to call on it to see if it was available. As i expected, it wasn't. However, the guy told me they had one come in yesterday afternoon as a customer order and the customer backed out late last night. Its not being marketed and i just happened to get the customer's sales guy who said it was available. So, i guess ill be buying it. I just put a deposit down and going to look at it this afternoon and hopefully close on it. MSRP is $82,825.
