So I decided to go mid travel. I decided to be the first gen 2 with blitzkrieg mid travel kit. Had all the work done at westside Offroad group in LA California.

I love the truck!! Bad ass!!!! But wouldn’t be cheaper to buy regular f150 and do all this modification??? U took a raptor, take out everything what raptor is know for.... just saying it’s still a monster truck

Interesting thought. When you're going that far, I guess it would be worth comparing both options for sure. The only difference would be, well, it's either a Raptor or it's not!

not really. If you intended to back half the truck and cage it from the jump, then YES, it would be cheaper and youd have a V8.

BUT, if you build an f-150, you arent getting the frame, its geometry, the triple wall cab, strong suspension mounting points, nor would you get the electric steering and braking tuning from the modes.

the other thing to thing about is that the raptor parts are generally available. you'd be doing custom fab on many of those same parts on an f-150.

so i guess, in short: if you want to go all the way, all at the same time, and have the checkbook to fund it, F-150.

Anything less, I'd still pick raptor as the starting platform.
