This is mine with no drop shackles or weight in the back with K96 +3 which is the standard duty 1” over stock, supposedly. I think Deaver intentionally makes their springs with the intention of having some weight in the rear though. If I were to buy them again, I would have gone with stock height. Mine didn’t really settle (maybe 1/4-1/2” at most). I will be getting some drop shackles eventually.
Ok I see where you're coming from, your rear end looks considerably higher than your front in your driveway. Is it less dramatic when you're parked on level ground? You may not have tested this yet, but how many lbs in the bed before it looks level? Lol could you please have a few guys jump in the back and see ;) ?

You're sayin' the k96 std Deaver is really an increase over stock spring rate right? How many miles did it take to settle 1/4" - 1/2"? How many miles have you run them at this point? I've heard Deavers do settle in...

It is the same when the truck is on flat ground since the bed isn't heavy enough by itself to weigh it down. I haven't tested how much weight it takes to get level yet, but there has been a lot of jumping in the bed to try to settle it.

Not necessarily the spring rate, I was just saying the K96's are more than 1" height over stock (at least in my case). And that's what I'm trying to figure out. I loosened front/rear bushing bolts then retorqued them on the ground with a little bit of weight. That's how I mostly got them to settle. 1/4"-1/2". I've put probably 3000-4000 miles on them so far with some off-roading.
