For me, I wouldn't do more than $69 .. but again, just me LOL

Have been lurking for a month but finally decided to buy a 2020 performance blue raptor this week. My question is with a MSRP of 74,239 with a 5k ADM making their total asking price 79,239.

I went in saying I won't pay the adm or even msrp. I told them the other raptor I was looking at the dealer offered $1500 off msrp so they came back and said they would sell the performance blue for 72,999. I really want to get this at 70k-71k....think that is reasonable?

Options on the performance blue are.....

802A
Recaro package
Twin moonroof
17in FA wheels
Second row heated seats
Tailgate step
Bed divider

I think you meant under MSRP? Because I don't think many will sell below invoice even out of state.

I talked to couple that would have $1500-$2000 below MSRP.. There were some that had it at $4K a few weeks ago but those are not in color and option I want. I'm sure they're probably sold now too.

Anyways, just call a bunch of the dealers , some maybe willing to go more than another.. depends on what you're looking for. I'm in no rush as I'm enjoying my 19 and the 20 is just another one we want to get so I have plenty of time to wait for the right deal

Have you found any California dealers that sell under invoice?

A Recaro optioned 802A is harder to find at invoice. With that said, I wouldn’t pay more than $70k for the truck. As evident by this thread, you can get $5-7k off a Raptor pretty easily.

I know the above link doesn’t really help you given that you are in Cali, but deals are out there. Don’t be afraid to go out of state.

Thanking for the help. With that truck being 69k then the $2,500 it would cost to get it shipped to me i am right back where i started . You are right, recaro optioned doesnt seem as easy to get deals on

If you really want it you are only $2k away from what you want to pay. Tell them to throw in the spray in bed liner and some mats. Life is short and it's a freakin' $70k+ truck. Buy it!

Destination charge is included in the MSRP. It's right on the window sticker.

Oh believe me, I see it. Wonder what the Detroit buyers think when they see that big number and their truck only travelled 10 miles to the dealer?

I think that's reasonable to ask for 71k during a Pandemic. You could at least try to wait him out for the month and see what happens. Best of luck. Wish I could get a good price here in So Cal but I think soon they will. I've seen dealers inland that have over 50 2019's leftover.

Waiting to finalize everything but finally got some responses that were positive today. Got lucky and hit up a random dealer that had the lead foot I wanted that was within driving distance. They originally had a 10k mark up and then dropped it down to a few thousand over msrp. I made a straight forward this is what I want it at and they accepted. I got them to agree to $67,300 OTD with them throwing in all weather floor mats. Lead Foot 802A, forged rims, spray in bedliner, moonroof (which I actually really wanted). Only thing missing was the CF package but I rather have the better looking rims. Couldn’t stand the basic stock ones. Overall, feel pretty good about the price I’m getting the truck at. I had a couple other dealers working really hard for me but after shipping costs the numbers just couldn’t compete. I know of another lead foot in missouri that is at a really good price if anyone is interested. Thanks for the info everyone!
