Dealers in Houston Area (Under MSRP?)

Hello all!

I'm new to the site and am in the early stages of considering a Raptor. I'm in the same boat as Blk02. I'm in the Houston area and am considering buying a new raptor if the price is right.

It seems that Steven Wiley at Port Lavaca Ford and Allison Basham at AutoNation Ford in South Fort Worth are my two closest and best bets. Does anyone have any other suggestions in Texas, Oklahoma, or Louisiana? I'm willing to go farther if the price is right but I figured I'd ask about closest options first.

Autonation in Katy is where I found mine... Paid $500 below sticker, which was good enough for me seeing as EVERY other dealer in Houston I spoke to would not budge. Chris was the salesman's name and he was very nice and professional.

Many thanks to your replies. I ended up ordering from **** Smith Ford near Kansas City, MO. I don't mind flying out and enjoying a road trip back to save some cash.

On a side note, I would advise anyone in Houston to stay away from Sterling Mccall Ford in Houston. I went in back in February to look into ordering a Raptor and the salesman told me he had a SCab in stock. He told me he would cut me a deal and would sell it to me for $6k over MSRP when they normally sold them for $10k over MSRP which I'm sure is the norm in a hot Raptor market like Houston. Needless to say, I quickly walked away from that "deal."

I just wanted to thank you for mentioning my in your post. I've actually sold several Raptors through similar posts. Word of mouth is the best advertising. Finally I decided it was time to join the Ford Raptor Forum.

Funny considering I talked to you on the phone back in December and you said it was absolutely impossible for you to go below MSRP. So I went with Allison Basham at AutoNation South Fort Worth and couldn't be ANY happier with how things worked out!

I bought mine from Munday Ford as well. Great people to deal with. Geoff was awesome and had the truck ready for me when I arrived. I got it $1500 over invoice without even having to order it from them.
