holy shit taco... are ppl in NY actually paying over a hundy for these trucks? ****** dealerships lost their damn minds lol. Cali and NY need to get with the program. Jeebus, I'm glad I'm in Texas

Several dealers were asking 10k over and got it. The truck in the link has been sitting for awhile now. I would never buy here. I'm driving to Alabama to pick my truck up.

I keep hearing auto loans are becoming a little bit harder and pricier to get especially high dollar vehicles. These things will be below msrp in about a month or two. All it takes is a bit of global or economical instability for gas to shoot up or for consumer confidence to fade away and good luck trying to sale high dollar pickups.

Let’s check back in around the early June time frame on the Raptor pricing. I will freely admit I grossly underestimated this market when I decided to start shopping, called and went to dealers and actually struck the deal. This market is not like other vehicle markets. I didn’t even pay MSRP for my previous Ducati; an ’09 1198s, the first road going bike with traction control.

I think prices for the Raptor will continue to hover at or just over MSRP.

You’re at least partially right about the world crisis / fuel price issue, but that takes some time to take effect, it won’t happen overnight. Fuel in the US has been going up at a trickle pace for a while now and seem to have at least regionally stabilized but will go up again in May for seasonal (futures) reasons.
Unless fuel goes up about a buck and sustains it for 6 or more months large vehicles will continue to sell, and Ford has positioned themselves pretty well with the reasonably economical ttv6.

I've noticed here that even at MSRP, Raptors are starting to stick around on the lots. Saw a lightning blue SCREW yesterday that's been on the lot about a month now.
