So what you guys are saying is that a truck thats 5 years old is time for the scrapyard???

I've run older Ford's from the early 80's and 70's that never gave any problems but common mechanical wear. So new Ford is a waste of money?

i think people were giving you shit for you creating an account to **** about your problems to us.

i agree that a second even a 3rd opinion would be a good idea, i havent heard of a steering computer on a hydraulic system.

glad to hear its back up and running!

Well I changed all 16 plugs last year... That can't be too long haha it's a 6.2btw I'm very good at keeping up on maintenance being as I used to be a mechanic and have my own shop. Oil every 3-4k, tranny flush every 60-80k and so on...

And I wasn't trying to **** about my problem, I've just never heard of a PCM going bad...

Funny, I’ve had no problem towing our trailer or playing in the sand and snow. The computer is up on the firewall, maybe run a hose over your hood and see if you’ve got water dripping on it.
